Salary
£35,000 - £45,000
Location
You may work from our ofice in London or from home, or on a hybrid arrangement to suit you. Please note you will be required to attend the office occasionally for team meetings. The successful candidate is required to have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
Contract type
Permanent contract, full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (less than 30 hours per week).

Job requirements
The role
The Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting in the smooth delivery of day-to-day financial operations at ISD with particular attention to ISD US. In close partnership with the Global Finance Manager, the Director of Finance, the Director of US Operations, and other members of the broader global finance team, this individual will contribute to successful financial management of the organization as well as supporting with general operations tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Management
Manage US accounts payable and receivable through QuickBooks Online
Handle US banking transactions/payments, including routine bank reconciliation
Process ISD US payroll system in conjunction with external payroll provider
Liaise with US State and Federal departments and our US CPA where necessary
Prepare monthly financials and forecasts for the Executive Director and global team
US Operations
Support the Director of US Operations in developing and implementing new operations policies and procedures as needed
Support the Director of US Operations with any administration, projects, or ongoing operational tasks
Assist with general ad hoc administration requests as needed as assigned by the US Director or the Executive Leadership Team

The ideal candidate
For this role, an ideal candidate is someone who has had experience working in a US organisation or has had direct US Finance responsibilities in a previous role, including supporting in or leading on payroll and who understands US State tax compliance. This individual will be a good communicator, have a problem-solving mind-set and a can-do attitude, as well as a US non-profit finance background or a desire to build a career in finance. They should be approachable and able to work independently, while also being capable of taking direction. Success in this role will require exceptional organizational skills, technical skills and strong attention to detail. This individual will be required to be efficient, flexible, and able to prioritize a range of tasks to help keep ISD’s finance and administration working smoothly.
